'itsnotmylawn...I live in a condo and the property behind me is a retirement home ..so its nice and big, lots of trees and LOTS of grass...the property on the other side is a bunch of townhomes which also has lots of grass...unfortuneately they mow on different days (our guys mow twice a week, the townhomes twice and the retirment guys at least once if not twice)...so everyday there is someone mowing

realllllllly not good for someone with a grass allergy (one of my three worst--grass, mold and cats)...and the grass pollen has been high for the last week or so--so REALLLY not a good time for me (meds dont help)....
staying indoors with the doors closed is about the only way....

bison burgers with some nice cheese melted inside and some garlic too....was very tasty!

Ya I know it isn't your lawn, but still would like one to mow. But I'm with you on the grass allergy. I have hay fever and grass definitely can aggravate it if I'm not careful.

Those sound really good cosy... Wish I could have had some. Oh well.

Rain here. Lots of rain today. Didn't go for my run today...

hot dogs for today...the german style ones (long & skinny)....was in a hot dog/hamburger mood when we went shopping

I mowed the lawn as a kid for about one summer and then my allergies got sooo bad my dad had to take over doing it (I was the last kid in line...my next sister got out of it because her allergies are worse than mine!!--she had the shots)...dad needed the exercise anyways! hubby doesnt have allergies so when we get our house he will be getting some of that exercise!

At my parents so we are having Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole. Meh. Of course dinner on my own tomorrow won't be much more exciting either. oh well.

I bailed hay for a few summers even though I have hay fever. My nasal spray did its job though.

I tried those nasal sprays, wound up with horrible problems from them (side effects can include: bleeding, sore throat, coughing, viral infections,....<--yep got those, not so much fun to have a sinus infection AND an allergy at the same time! not to mention already HAD all the other side effects I mentioned BEFORE I took it

and it making those WORSE).

Bummer, that would definitely make it not worth it. Luckily for me I haven't had those problems. Thank goodness for that.

We have just gone through a week of green clouds of pine pollen, the worst it has been in years. Most cars that aren't garaged at night have become whatever color with green highlights. Needless to say I have have had puffy eyes and sneezing attacks all week. It has been raining all day today so hopefully it will end the misery.

yeah our car is usually a shade of yellow this time of year (and its actually a color called misty plum)....the grass pollen has been pretty dang bad --must be all that rain we had

went out to get a few herbs to replace the ones that didnt quite make it thru the too hot and too rainy month....and then a long nap.

If I leave mine in the limited shade I have here I get either bird crap on it or stick crap from the tree. Oh well...

Rained today. Gonna warm up tomorrow and be super humid me thinks.

yeah we have a tree over our driveway and our car seems to be what the birds aim for...

bad thing is they closed the only car wash near our house that was cheap (can go to the hand washing places but those are expensive or the wash it your self--but then you have to bring stuff and wear the right clothes)....so the birds arent our friends.

had a nice few days...did a lot of sleeping in the cooler temps....though I see summer is coming really soon (high temps for next weekend, knew it was too good to last).

had my masssssage today. (and a good nap afterwards

The other day I looked out my window. My car had a bunch of bird crap on it. Looked at the other 4 cars in the lot that were parked right next to mine. Nothing. >< Oh well. Guess I'll just have to wash it again next time I go back to my parents.

It has been cooler here as well. Got a lot of rain yesterday. Supposed to stay in the upper 70's lower 80's until Friday. Then it is in the 90's. OH well. Guess we are due.

Massage? That sounds really nice... My neck and upper back are killing me for some reason... Though surprisingly my legs are fine since this is my 2nd week of running in the morning M-F. Ran probably a mile and a half today.

Pretty good for starting back up just last week.

pwnd, What did you do to piss off those birds? Mid 60's would sound good, as it is about 53 with rain showers and drizzle. We have this big bad low pressure just spinning off shore just south of Cape Cod. Weekend sounds okay, partly sunny and mid 70's

some cars are more 'approved' by birds everywhere! (mine are in that category as well)...which is why we are still unhappy that the nearest car wash is closed

another nice day...had the balcony door open almost 'til noon....I am enjoying parts of 'spring'.....(not a season I am used to having).

made curry for dinner with tofu...indian type curry....not spicy enough for me though.

Ya, I have one right down the street but it is cheaper for me to go to my parents and wash it there. Plus they have "free" food and a pool.

Supposed to get warmer today. 86, might have to turn the A/C on as my apartment tends to get warmer than outside later on in the day. Oh well.

would be nice to have a place to go and wash my car for 'free' however, our condo doesnt have that kind of facilities, and we really arent allowed to do that in our driveways (since we really dont own them

a/c on all day--really wont want to see that bill next month..though we did have a few hours in the mornings that were cool enough to have the door open for more than 5 minutes (dang a/c seems to know when we open that balcony door!).

had homemade gyros for dinner...turned out pretty good for our first attempt!

I have a washer and dryer, just cant wash cars in my own driveway --as its not my 'own'...yeah really want my own house, this condo living is for the idiots.....want my own land, my own driveway...my own walls...and my own problems (not some I got from someone else who lived there)...and its in the works---been trying to save up for some land...almost have enough for a dog house
